Uzodima’s assassination of ESN’s top commander has sparked a hornet’s nest — IPOB

The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has responded angrily to the assassination of a top commander of the Estern Security Network, ESN, simply known as Ikonso, vowing vengeance.

IPOB’s Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful, issued a press release strongly condemning the attack and promising “hell for all those who had a hand in the attack.”

IPOB, which characterised the ESN commander’s death as “very painful,” accused Governor Hope Uzodima of collaborating with security operatives to assassinate Ikonso for allegedly declining the governor’s offer to lead the Ebubeagu security outfit, which was declared by South East governors.

The pro-Biafra movement claimed Uzodima had agitated the hornet’s nest and warned him to expect “a sting.”

IPOB, ably led by our great leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, strongly condemns the unprovoked assault on some members of IPOB and ESN operatives by a joint security force comprising the army, police, and DSS operatives, with the help of the Imo State Government, at Oguta junction at Mgbidi, along the Owerri road Onitsha expressway.

“It is extremely painful to see heroic Biafrans killed in cold blood while defending our communities and towns from Fulani terrorist herdsmen posing as cattle herders.

” I hope Uzodinma and all those involved in this depravity pay a high price. Hope Uzodinma and his cowardly Nigerian security forces, who are incapable of confronting Fulani terrorists and only flex their muscles when they see Biafra agitators.

“Uzodima has sparked a hornet’s nest by assassinating Ikonso, the ESN unit COMMANDER in cold blood! He should brace himself for a sting.

“Uzodima killed Ikonso after he turned down his offer to lead the Ebubeagu ghost security outfit, which was founded by South East governors.

” Uzodima has attempted, but failed, to entice ESN operatives to EBUBEAGU. He had made enticing offers to them, but they had declined, leading to his decision to eliminate these patriotic heroes who had vowed never to betray Biafra.

“Hope Uzodinma dispatched a large number of emissaries to implore Ikonso and other ESN officers to join the EBUBEAGU security force. As a result of their failure to betray the Biafra movement and our leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the governor has deployed joint security forces against them today.

“Contrary to the arguments of cowardly security forces who run from terrorists while killing innocent people, they were unable to penetrate the ESN camp. They just ambushed Ikonso, but we will punish them for their cowardice!

“I’m hoping Uzodima has suffocated sleep, so he’ll be prepared to stay awake! In Enugu, FULANI terrorists posing as cattle sellers destroyed a police van and assaulted government officials on duty with AK-47s, but no Army, police, or DSS have yet targeted them.

“However, ESN operatives protecting our cities from terrorists are hunted down like game every day. Until we start our own madness, the world has remained silent about this atrocity.

“May Chukwu Okike Abiama embrace our brave men’s souls. For their bravery, Biafra will still honour them and other fallen heroes!

“Hope Uzodinma, just as Ikonso’s body was paraded by police and the Nigerian army, so shall yours be one day!”
