Iyabo Ojo Slams Yomi Fabiyi For Reacting To Baba Ijesha’s Rape Saga

Iyabo Ojo and Yomi Fabiyi

Yomi Fabiyi, a famous Yoruba actor, has been chastised for comments he made on social media sympathising with Baba Ijesha, who has been arrested for allegedly molesting a 14-year-old child.

His post came after police said in a statement that Baba Ijesha admitted to the crime and was caught on CCTV. Yoruba actor Yomi Fabiyi asked his colleagues not to leap to conclusions in a Facebook post. He then demanded proof first.

He wrote in the Instagram post:

This did not go well with many people in the industry. Earlier in the day, Comedienne Princess posted a video in which she shared her sadness at Yomi’s plea for the CCTV footage, with tears in her eyes.

According to Princess, the victim’s adoptive father, Baba Ijesha first sexually raped the child when she was seven years old. He is also said to have penetrated her with a key another time.

When a video of Yomi acting with Princess appeared on their home screen at the age of 14, the victim opened up about the incident.

Princess claimed at this point that she installed a CCTV camera in the house and that it caught Baba Ijesha in the act. She claims that when questioned, he admitted “four times” and blamed the devil.

Following Princess’s video, Iyabo Ojo took to Instagram to discuss the issue and answer to Yomi Fabiyi. Check out the video below:

Yomi and Iyabo’s posts elicited numerous responses on Twitter, some of which are mentioned below:
