Whoever said I asked for contracts is a disgrace to himself and everyone he serves – Mbaka

Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry, Enugu, has dismissed as childish and laughable claims that he is attacking President Muhammadu Buhari because he demanded contracts and was denied.

According to Vanguard, Senior Special Assistant to the President for Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, in response to Mbaka’s appeal for Buhari to resign or be impeached by the National Assembly, Mbaka’s attack stems from his inability to obtain contracts from the federal government.

In his Sunday sermon, obtained by Vanguard, Mbaka addressed the charge, saying, “When they talk about giving Fr Mbaka contracts, I don’t want to talk about that because it is a laughable, childish accusation.” Whoever says that is a disgrace to himself and the people he represents.

“Because Fr Mbaka’s voice came from the divine realm, what I am saying is unarguable. I remained silent because I waited for them to change before God said, “Talk.”

“Some messages are like dew, others are like rain, and still others are like thunder.” Anyone who challenges the message is questioning the God of Thunder and should proceed with caution.

“The priest who was speaking, Fr Mbaka, is also a work provider by the special grace of God. To God’s glory, there are over 23,000 people who profit directly from me on a monthly basis by direct salary.

“How many people are you eating, the individual challenging Fr Mbaka? So, if I talk, do you speak? That you’re being paid by the government?

“I’m not here to justify any accusation, but the three men he named are people who should have dealt with the country’s insecurity. This was during Buhari’s first term, and these men assured them that they could help them overcome fear.

“Within a month, these men had a voice to end insecurity. This was under the supervision of Abba Kyari. I simply handed them over to the government. They only asked me to assist them in reaching government and offered to support insecurity, revive the nation’s economy by putting an end to crude oil theft, and provide jobs.

“Anyone who tells the truth is labelled as a terrorist.

“Are those who have been granted contracts better than me? They also shown that they lack a reward system.

“Fr Mbaka is the last person this administration can fight.” He said
