In a new song, Eedris Abdulkareem criticises Festus Keyamo

Eedris Abdulkareem, a Nigerian rapper and singer, has hit back at the Minister of State for Labour and Jobs, Festus Keyamo, in his latest album, ‘Jaga jaga oti get e,’ published on Friday 30th April, referring to the minister as a Senior Advocate of Nonsense.

“In 2018, when you got your appointment, I thought you were still a comrade, thought you might affect change in your country,” Edris said, adding, “your government is not working.”

Similarly, the jaga jaga crooner raised concerns about the region, claiming that “Nigeria is no longer safe.” Extremism is a symbol of our country,” he said, before asking succinctly, “Is your government not a cabal that tampers with a lot of terrorists?”

In the song’s second verse, Eedris criticises Keyamo, saying, “You don enter the cabal, wey dey deceive the citizens of Delta State,” before crowning him “SAN of garbage, Senior Advocate of Nonsense.”

Previously, Eedris Abdulkareem released a song called “Jaga Jaga Reloaded,” in which he challenged the ministers’ sincerity. The minister clapped back at Eedris in a series of tweets on April 24, thus supporting his point with screenshots of text messages between them; an action that resulted in Twitter removing the post in accordance with its user privacy policy.

Festus Keyamo said that Eedris sought an undeserved political favour, which he denied. Eedris now responded, “I thought he was a brother.”
